Why you need a checklist
Most LED wall problems are bought, not built: the wrong pitch, a trader with no spares, a warranty that excludes everything. Ask every shortlisted supplier these 12 questions — in writing — and compare answers side by side.
Product questions
- Which factory makes your panels, and can I see a delivered project? Traders dodge this; manufacturers and factory partners answer instantly with addresses.
- What is the panel's brightness after calibration, not peak? Calibrated brightness is typically 70–80% of the datasheet number.
- What refresh rate — and is it enough for cameras? 3840Hz minimum if the screen will ever be filmed.
- Are modules front-serviceable? Rear-access-only walls cost far more to maintain once installed against a wall.
- What's the pixel pitch for my actual viewing distance? Check it yourself with a viewing distance calculator.
Warranty and after-sales — where UAE buyers get burned
- What does your LED display warranty in the UAE actually cover? It must include modules, power supplies and receiving cards; ask for exclusions in writing.
- Where are spare modules stocked? "In China" means a 4–8 week wait with a hole in your screen. Local UAE stock should be included with the project.
- What's the guaranteed response time for a fault? Get an SLA in the contract, not a verbal promise.
- Do you calibrate on site after installation? Batch-matched, camera-calibrated walls look seamless; uncalibrated ones show patchwork tiles within months.
Compliance and commercial

- Is structure, power and content management included or excluded? The cheapest panel quote is often the most expensive project.
