The observation deck at the Palm Tower needed digital signage on floor-to-ceiling glass facades without obstructing the panoramic view. The display had to maintain 85%+ transparency during the day while being bright enough for content visibility in direct sunlight. Wind loads at 240m height added structural engineering complexity.
Transparent LED mesh at P3.9 was bonded directly to the structural glazing using a custom mounting system engineered for Category 3 wind loads. Auto-brightness sensors adjust output from 500 nits (evening) to 5,000 nits (direct sunlight) to ensure consistent visibility without overwhelming the view.
